Heating elements for butt welding in round design
Heating elements for butt welding by RIEXINGER are versatile and universally applicable for a wide range of materials and applications and are available in various sizes.
The temperature of our units is controlled by a thermostat or electronics. A control lamp integrated in the handle indicates the heating interval. All heating elements for direct material processing have a non-stick PFTE coating. A workbench holder for safe “laying down” of the unit is included in the scope of delivery.
All benefits at a glance
- With non-stick coating, connection cable and mains plug
- Thermostatic or electronic control
- Control lamp for heating interval is integrated in the handle
- For units with electronic control, temperature setting and monitoring are carried out according to DVS 2208.
- Workbench bracket for mounting on the workbench included
- Also available in 115 volt. Other voltages on request.

The standard for pipe welds: the round heating element
The round design of the HG series is the established standard in plastic pipe welding. It is designed for fast, safe and standard-compliant connection of PE, PP and PVDF pipes in all common dimensions (up to Ø 320 mm). The non-stick coated heating plates provide optimum, even heat transfer to the end faces of the pipe. This ensures that the welding temperature required for flawless butt welding is reached reliably and quickly. With a wide range of diameters available, you will always find the right hand-held device for your construction site or workshop in the HG series.
Control and flexibility: thermostatic vs. electronically controlled
In order to meet the various requirements for process reliability, we offer the HG series in two control variants:
- Thermostatic control (T models): These models offer reliable, simple temperature control and are ideal for welding work where documentation requirements are not a priority.
- Electronic control (E models): Here, the temperature is set and monitored precisely in accordance with DVS 2208-1. These E models are the best choice if you require complete reproducibility and compliance with the highest national welding standards.
All devices offer full transparency regarding the heating interval thanks to the indicator light integrated into the handle and come with a practical workbench mount.
