When installing pipework systems in civil engineering, plant construction or infrastructure projects, the first few centimetres are crucial to the long-term integrity of the entire network. Irregular wall thicknesses or rough edges often lead to major problems when joining push-fit and socket connections. Sharp-edged pipe sections damage the sensitive sealing elements during insertion, resulting in hidden leaks. Furthermore, having to carry out two separate steps – milling and chamfering – significantly slows down progress on the construction site or in the workshop.

The ENDO Xpand poly eliminates these risks and optimises the entire workflow. The system ensures a uniform wall thickness in the connection area of the plastic tube whilst simultaneously creating a precise internal chamfer. This synchronous machining produces a defined internal diameter, allowing the pipe segment to slide smoothly into the connecting elements whilst keeping the internal seals completely intact. This ensures a permanently leak-proof and reliable connection, as well as optimum flow of the medium without disruptive turbulence.
