Vulcanizing devices
Riexinger vulcanizing devices are the cost-effective solution for the manual joining of butt joints on joint tapes made of SBR, CR and EPDM materials. The vulcanizers are used in industry, trade and commerce and impress with their particularly robust design and intuitive operation.
A thermostat has been installed in the stainless steel housing for the two heating elements, which both ensures the operating temperature of 210 °C and prevents overheating. The units are equipped with a connecting cable and a SchuKo plug (CEE 7/4).
Our vulcanising machines are designed for the joining technology described in DIN 18197 and are of course CE-compliant and DGVU 3 tested.

How it works
After connection to the mains, the vulcanising device immediately starts the heating process. A thermostat in the unit checks the temperature of the two heating elements. As soon as the operating temperature of 210 °C is reached, the yellow indicator lights go out and the vulcanisation process can begin.
In order to properly join joint tapes made of the materials SBR, CR and EPDM, the joining surfaces of the plastic parts must be cleaned, i.e. absolutely free of dirt and grease. The joint tapes are then butted into the vulcanising unit, fixed with the clamp and vulcanised under pressure. The device is then disconnected from the power supply and cools down. As soon as the cooling time is reached, the clamp is released and the workpiece is removed.
